4EnglishUsing the Phone (Select Models Only)Starting the PhoneProgramStart the Phone program by any of thethree methods:z Press the Send key on the device.z Tap Phone (left soft key) on theToday screen.z Tap Æ Phone.Dialing a Phone Number1. When on the Today screen: Pressthe numeric keys on your device tostart entering the phone number.While in the Phone program: Enterthe phone number using thephysical or onscreen keypad.2. As you enter the phone number,the program searches Contacts, CallHistory, and Speed Dial to find amatching name and/or number.When you see the name of theperson to call listed, select it andthe desired phone number.Or, you can continue entering thecomplete phone number.3.
