A temperaturedifference of more than 10 C (18 F) maycause condensation inside the unit, whichmay damage the storage media.General Guidelines Do not expose your skin to the computerwhen operating it in a very hot or coldenvironment. Do not place heavy objects on top of thecomputer as this may damage the display. The screen surface is easily scratched.Avoid touching it with a sharp object suchas a pen or pencil. LCD image sticking occurs when a fixedpattern is displayed on the screen for aprolonged period of time. You can avoidthe problem by limiting the amount ofstatic content on the display. It is recom-mended that you use a screen saver orturn off the display when it is not in use. To maximize the life of the backlight inthe display, allow the backlight to auto-matically turn off as a result of powermanagement.
