5Safety Information1 Safety Information1.1 General Safety InformationApart from the instructions contained inthis manual, the general safety instruc-tions and accident prevention regula-tions, as imposed by law will have to becomplied with. Do not put the Manualaside without reading it even if you usedsimilar cleaning machines before. Taketime to read now and save time later.Machines with known defects must notbe used. It will be of essence to makeyourself familiar with all accessoriesand controls, as well as their functions,before you start working. Avoid themess of having to read this book whiletrying to run the machine.Using the machine in areas with explo-sion hazard is prohibited. Do not use or store themachine outdoor or under wetconditions.- Do not exceed the maximum incli-nation of 10% for transport rides(e.g. on ramps). Do not take themachine up a ramp in forwardmode. Uphill ride must not exceeda duration of 2 minutes and has tobe executed with outmost care (Donot drive on wet, oily or soiledramps).- The operator of the machine has towear firm, closed-toed shoes withprotection against slipping.- Never leave the machine unattend-ed before the motors are off andkey pulled and the machine is pro-tected against unintended move-ments.- Keep clear of hazard zone.
