Lower the holding attachment of thesqueegee: Press the button for thesqueegee and suction turbine so thatthe green control lamp lights up.3. Switch off the key switch and removethe key.4. Open the rear doors.5. Slide the squeegee from the rear un-der the lowered holding attachmentand fix the squeegee to it with thefour wing nuts (Fig. 7/1).6. Attach the suction hose to the con-nection nozzle (Fig. 7/2) of thesqueegee.7. Insert the key in the key switch andswitch on the key switch.8. The squeegee is then lifted automat-ically.9. Close the rear doors.Fig. 7Adjusting the squeegeeThe squeegee must be set up on a levelfloor according to the conditions inwhich it is to be used. The squeegeemust stand vertically on the floor (ad-justed at the factory). The sealing strip(Fig. 7/3) should bend slightly to therear when the vehicle is in operation.Supporting rollers (Fig. 7/5) limit itsmovement toward the floor. To increasethe squeegee contact pressure,the supporting rollers must be adjusted:• Loosen the counternuts (Fig. 7/4)and raise the supporting rollers onthe left and right evenly (turn screwcounterclockwise and lock).The sealing strip now bends a littlemore towards the rear. An adjustmentof the supporting rollers is also neces-sary when the edge of the sealing stripis worn.12345
