8Safety information1.2 General Provisions• Apart from the provisions containedin this instruction manual, the gener-al safety provisions and the accidentprevention regulations as imposedby law have to be complied with.• Before taking your machine into op-eration, carefully read the instructionmanual and comply with all pointsmentioned there during work.• Persons being trained by qualifiedHako technicians only are autho-rised to operate, service and repairthe machine.• This vehicle is not intended to beused by persons (including children)with limited physical or mental capa-bilities or persons without sufficientexperience and ability.• You are advised to thoroughly studythe safety instructions since preciseknowledge only helps avoiding er-rors during operation of the machineand thus guarantee faultless usageof the machine.• The operating instructions have tobe at hand at the place of use of themachine, and therefore have to bekept readily available at the ma-chine.• When selling or letting the machinefor rent, hand out these documentsto the new owner/operator and havethe transfer certified!• The warning and instruction platesattached to the machine containvaluable advice about safe opera-tion. Immediately replace incompleteor illegible labels.• As far as safety standards are con-cerned, spare have to equal genuinespare parts!• Keep clear of hazard zone of theSweepmaster B1200 RH.• Only use a mobile phone when themachine standing still.• Passenger transport is not admitted.1.3 Provisions for Operation• Before taking into operation, checkthe machine for operational safety!Immediately remedy malfunctions!• It is indispensable for the operator toget acquainted with all attached im-plements and controls as well aswith their function before operationbegins. Once you have started towork, no time will be left to do so!• When working with the machine usefirm and skid proof shoes.• The machine may be used only onsuch surfaces clearly specified bythe owner or his authorised repre-sentative.• When working with the machine takenotice of third persons, especiallychildren.• The machine is not designed for col-lecting hazardous, inflammable orexplosive dusts or substances.• This machine must not be used asdust-evacuating machine with dustfilter insert (separator) to collectdusts which are hazardous to health.• Usage of the machine in explosiveareas is prohibited.• Pull the key switch to avoid unau-thorized use of the machine.• Before commencing work, the ope-rator has to make sure that the ma-chine and its accessories are inproper and safe condition. Machineswith known defects must not beused.• Before operation of the machine, ad-just driver's seat such that completevisibility of the riding track and therear working area is given!• For safety reasons, the driver's seatis equipped with a seat contact
