26This Haier brand product, when shipped in itsoriginal container, will be free from defectiveworkmanship and materials, and agrees that itwill, at its option, either repair the defect orreplace the defective product with a new orre-manufactured equivalent, for parts or laborfor the periods set forth below:This warranty does not apply to theappearance of the product or the exteriorof the product, which has been damagedor defaced, altered or modified in designor construction. It does not apply to theadditional excluded items set forth below:The warranty commences on the date theitem was purchased and the original purchasereceipt must be presented to the authorizedservice center before warranty repairs arerendered.The limited warranty described herein isin addition to whatever implied warrantiesmay be granted to purchasers by law. ALLIMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THEWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY ANDFITNESS FOR USE ARE LIMITED TO THEPERIOD(s) FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASESET FORTH BELOW. Some states do not allowlimitations on how long an implied warrantylasts, so the above limitation may not apply toyou.Neither the sales personnel of the seller norany other person is authorized to make anywarranties other than those described herein,or to extend the duration of any warrantiesbeyond the time period described herein onbehalf of Haier.WARRANTYThe warranties described herein shall bethe sole and exclusive warranties grantedby Haier and shall be the sole and exclusiveremedy available to the purchaser.
