For safety purposes the air conditioner must beproperly grounded.2. To avoid a fire hazard or possible electric shock, DO NOT use an adapter plug, extension cord,surge protectors, or multi-outlet adapters with the air conditioner.3. The power supply cord is equipped with a 3-prong plug which mates with a standard 115 voltwall outlet to minimize the possibility of electrical shock from this air conditioner.4. The power supply cord includes a leakage current detection interrupter device (LCDI). ARESET and TEST button are on the plug case. The device should be tested on a periodicbasis by pressing the TEST button and then the RESET button while it is plugged into the walloutlet.
