Do not mix batterytypes. Install the batteries at the correct polarities.Do not use rechargeable batteries. If your TV is to bestored for a period of time, remove the batteries fromthe remote control.03GettingStartedSetting upLocationYou will need to place your TV near your plug socket (so thepower cable can comfortably reach) and within reach of youraerial socket or extension lead.ConnectionInsert your TV aerial lead into the Antenna input at theAside of the TV.Insert the batteries into the remote control. Make sureB they are inserted the right way around, matching thepolarity as indicated inside the battery compartment.Switching your TV onPress theA POWER button on the right side of the TVonce. A red flashing light will appear in the corner of thescreen.PressB POWER on the remote control. The TV will turnon and the red light will turn blue. This may take a fewmoments.Select your chosen language when prompted from theClist that will appear on screen. Use the34 button toscroll to the language you want and press OK button toconfirm.TUNING YOUR TVSwitching to an external source otherthat TVIf you have attached a DVD player or similar external deviceto the TV, you will need to tell the TV to display the contentfrom it.
