Grids2. Lid Latch3. LidHow to use1. Plug cord into electrical outlet. The POWER ON light will glow.2. Preheat with lid closed until READY light comes on.3. Raise lid and pour about 1/3 cup(80 ml) batter onto center of eachwaffle square. Lower the lid.4. Waffles are done in about 3 to 6 min-utes, depending on recipe, or whensteaming begins to stop. Removewaffle with plastic or wooden utensil.Never use metal. This will damagethe nonstick coating.5. Unplug unit when through cooking. Let cool.Power ON and Ready lightsThe POWER ON light comes on when the waffle baker is firstplugged in. This light will stay on until the unit is unplugged.The READY light comes on when the waffle baker has reachedthe desired temperature. For best results, wait until the READYlight comes on before adding the waffle batter. This light willcycle on and off during baking.BluePower ONLightBurn Hazard.Always use an oven mitt to protect hand when opening a hotwaffle baker. Escaping steam can burn.BEFORE FIRST USE: Wipe the bottom and top cookinggrids with a soapy, damp cloth. Rinse cloth; then wipegrids again. Wipe or brush waffle grids with vegetable oil.This is only recommended before first use.w CAUTIONUsage tips• Most waffle recipes can be poured directly onto the non-stick cooking grids. Use a cooking spray for dessert waf-fles or any recipe with a lot of sugar. If your waffles startto stick, the grids may need to be scrubbed with a nylonbrush to remove any cooked-on food particles.• Waffles can be made ahead of time and kept warm in a200˚F (90˚C) oven.• To store waffles, let cool and then pack in an airtight container.Store in refrigerator or freezer. Waffles can be reheated in amicrowave oven, a toaster oven, or regular oven.• Most waffles are done in about 3 to 6 minutes. Recipes madefrom scratch may take longer. Check for doneness afterapproximately 5 minutes or when the steaming stops. La vapeurs’échappant peut brûler et le couvercle est chaud.AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION : Essuyer les grilles decouvercle et de fond avec un linge humidifié d’eau savonneuse.Rincer le linge puis essuyer à nouveau les grilles. Essuyer oubrosser les grilles de cuisson avec de l’huile végétale. Cetteétape est recommandée avant la première utilisation seulement.1. Brancher la fiche dans la prise murale. Le témoind’alimentation ON s’allumera.2. Préchauffer en fermant le couvercle jusqu’à ce que letémoin de préchauffage (READY) s’allume.3. Soulever le couvercle et verserenviron 80 ml (1/3 de tasse) de pâteau centre de chaque grille de cuisson.Abaisser le couvercle.4. Les gaufres sont cuites après 3 à 6minutes environ, selon la recette oulorsque la vapeur ne s’échappe plus.Retirer les gaufres avec un ustensileen plastique ou en bois. Ne jamaisutiliser d’ustensiles métalliques. Ceci pourra endommagerl’enduit antiadhésif.5. Débrancher l’appareil dès que vous avez terminé.
