24RELATIVE mV CALIBRATION (HI 251)Note: ï If the reading is not close to the selected calibration point,ìWRONGî tag will blink. Verify calibration condition or contactyour vendor if you can not calibrate.ï Press CAL in any moment of the calibration process. The instrumentswill return to measurement mode. If calibration process is stoppedafter 600 mV is confirmed, the 600 mV range is calibrated andcalibration parameters are memorized.ï Press CAL when the instrument is in RELATIVE mV measurement mode.The ìmVî and ì î tags will blink. Absolute mV is displayed on theprimary LCD and ìAbSî message is displayed on the secondary LCD.ï When the absolute reading is stable and in measurement range, theinstrument asks for confirmation.ï If the reading is out of range, ìWRONGî tag will be displayed.ï Press CFM to confirm the absolute value. The instrument will display 0.0mV on the primary LCD and ìrELî message on the secondary LCD. In thismoment the relative mV offset is equal to absolute mV reading.ï Use the ARROW keys if you want to change the displayed relative mV value.ï Press CFM to confirm the relative mV value. The relative mV offset isdisplayed on the primary LCD and ìOFFî message on the secondary LCD fora few seconds.
