Never fit a shut-offdevice between the fitting and the hose.Installation Instructions• Prior to installation, inspect the product for transportdamages. After it has been installed, no transport orsurface damage will be honoured.• The pipes and the fixture must be installed, flushedand tested as per the applicable standards.• The plumbing codes applicable in the respectivecountries must be observed.• Where the contractor mounts the product, he shouldensure that the entire area of the wall to which themounting plate is to be fitted, is flat (no projectingjoints or tiles sticking out), that the structure of the wallis suitable for the installation of the product and hasno weak points. The enclosed screws and dowels areonly suitable for concrete. For another wall construc-tions the manufacturer's indications of the dowelmanufacturer have to be taken into account.• The premounted filter insert must be used to ensurea normal flow of the shower and to prevent dirt fromentering through the pipes. Dirt entering can affect thefunction and/or lead to damages to the shower. Hans-grohe will not be held liable for this type of damage.• Optimal functioning is only guaranteed with the com-bination of Hansgrohe hand showers and Hansgroheshower hoses.EnglishFlow diagram(see page 31)With the excentric washer it is possible toequalize tolerance of the drilling.
