Turn the power on or check thefuse.2. Turn power to fan off and backon. Within 30 seconds press theLEARN button on back of remotecontrol (see p. 17).3. Insert new 12V battery in batterycompartment of the remote control(see p. 17).4. The remote control has beensynced to this fan at the factoryand the dip switch as beenswitched to “0” inside the batterycompartment. If you have morethan one remote control in theroom, you may need to change thedip switch settings as follows:Slide the dip switch to “1” insidethe battery compartment and turnthe power to the fan OFF Thenturn the power ON and you shouldhear the remote receiver make twomusical sounds, indicating thatthe power supply is normal. Within30 seconds, press the “LEARN”key on the back of the transmitter.Your remote and fan should besynchronized. To verify successfulsynchronization, the ceiling fanlight (if installed) will blink 3 timesand remain ON, and the fan willrotate on HIGH speed.
