This is due tothe specifications for Dolby Digital processing,which require that the Dolby Pro Logic modeapply any time a 2-channel Dolby signal isdetected. If you desire 5.1-channel audio, checkthe audio settings in the menus for both yourDVD player and your DVD disc to make surethat a 5.1-channel Dolby Digital soundtrack hasbeen selected.G Analog Input Indicator: This indicatorlights when an analog input source has beenselected.H Dolby 3 Stereo Indicator: This indicatorlights when the Dolby 3 Stereo Mode has beenselected.I VMAx Mode Indicator: This indicatorlights when the VMAx mode is in use. VMAx Fappears when the Far Field VMAx mode isselected; VMAx N appears when the NearField VMAx mode is selected. (See page 22 fora description of the VMAx modes.)J 5-Channel Stereo Indicator: This indica-tor lights when the 5-Channel Stereo mode hasbeen selected.K Logic 7 Mode Indicators: These indica-tors light when the Logic 7 mode is in use.LOGIC 7C appears for the Cinema versionof Logic 7; LOGIC 7M appears for theMusic version of Logic 7. (See page 22 for adescription of the Logic 7 modes.)L Hall Mode Indicator: This indicator lightswhen the Hall mode has been selected.M Theater Mode Indicator: This indicatorlights to show that the Theater mode has beenselected.N Night Mode Indicator: This indicatorlights when the AVR 110 is in the Night mode,which preserves the dynamic range of digitalprogram material at low volume levels.O Speaker/Channel Input Indicators: Theseindicators are multipurpose, indicating either thespeaker type selected for each channel or theincoming data-signal configuration. The left,center, right, right surround and left surroundspeaker indicators are composed of three boxes,while the subwoofer is a single box. The centerbox lights when a “Small” speaker is selected,and all three boxes light when “Large” speakersare selected. When none of the boxes are lit forthe center, surround or subwoofer channels, nospeaker has been selected for one of those posi-tions. (See page 17 for more information on con-figuring speakers.) The letters inside each of thecenter boxes display active input channels. Forstandard analog inputs, only the L and R willlight, indicating a stereo input. When a digitalsource is playing, the indicators will light to dis-play the channels being received at the digitalinput. When the letters flash, the digital inputhas been interrupted. (See page 18 for moreinformation on the Channel Indicators.)P Preset Number/Sleep Timer: When thetuner is in use, these numbers indicate the spe-cific preset memory location in use. (See page25 for more information on preset stations.)When the Sleep function is in use, these num-bers show how many minutes remain beforethe unit goes into the Standby mode.
