When this indicator is lit, the AVR 300 willplay traditional stereo sound using the front-leftand front-right speakers only.L Multiroom System Indicator: This indica-tor illuminates when the multiroom system is inoperation. (See page 26 for more informationon the multiroom system.)M Night Mode Indicator: This indicatorlights when the AVR 300 is in the Night mode,which preserves the dynamic range of digitalprogram material at low volume levels.N Preset Number: This two-digit displayindicates the station preset number that iscurrently in use, or that is being entered.O Preset Indicator: This indicator illuminateswhen a station previously entered into the presetmemory is tuned. The number that appears belowthe indicator is the preset station’s memory.P Memory: This indicator flashes whenentering presets and other information into thetuner’s memory.Q Auto: This indicator illuminates when theAuto mode is in use for FM tuning.R Mono Indicator: This indicator illuminateswhen the tuner has been placed in the monauralmode by pressing the Tune Mode button *.Set the tuner for mono listening to reduce noiseand improve the quality of distant stereo signals.S Stereo Indicator: This indicator illuminateswhen an FM station is being tuned in stereo.T Tuned Indicator: This indicator illuminateswhen a station is being received with sufficient sig-nal strength to provide acceptable listening quality.U Main Information Display: This displayshows messages relating to the status, inputsource, surround mode, tuner, volume level orother aspects of unit’s operation.V Sleep Indicator: This indicator is illumi-nated when the Sleep function is in use. Thenumber that appears above the indicator isthe number of minutes remaining before theAVR 300 will return to the Standby mode.W Mute: This indicator illuminates to remindyou that the AVR 300’s output has beensilenced by pressing the Mute button ı .Press the Mute button again to return to thepreviously selected output level.31
