Afterthe pause, reconnect the AC power cord and checkthe unit’s operation. If the system still malfunctions, asystem “reset” may clear the problem.To clear the AVR 130’s entire system memory includ-ing the tuner presets, output level settings, delay timesand speaker configuration data, first put the unit inStandby by pressing the Standby/On Switch 3so that the Power Indicator 2 turns amber. Next,press and hold the Tone Mode Button 6 for threeseconds.The unit will reset and then turn on automatically. Onceyou have cleared the memory in this manner, it is nec-essary to reestablish all system configuration settingsand tuner presets.The reset will not affect settings that were programmedinto the remote control. To reset the remote controland restore it to the factory default settings, pleasefollow the instructions on page 29.If these steps do not solve the problem, consult anauthorized Harman Kardon service center.
