The disc contin-ues to spin but the sound stops, andappears on the display. Tocontinue playing, press the PLAY orPAUSE button again.•SELECTING A PREVIOUS TRACK INPLAY MODEIf a track is playing, press the BACK-WARD SKIP BUTTON ( ) toreturn to the beginning of the track.Press the BACKWARD SKIP buttonbefore a track begins playing to moveto the beginning of the previous track.During normal play, if the BACK-WARD SKIP button is pressed at thebeginning of the first track, the firsttrack is skipped to the last track.During random or programmed play,the BACKWARD SKIP button can bepressed only to return to the beginningof the first track.•••• Do not insert any objects into the trayas it can damage the mechanism.Press the OPEN/CLOSE button. Thedisc tray slides out automatically.Take care that the tray is not ob-structed. If it is obstructed in opening,it will be closed after about fiveseconds. If it is obstructed in closing,it will be opened automatically afterabout five seconds.Load a disc with the labelled side upafter the disc tray is opened com-pletely.•••LABELLEDSURFACEIf you want to take a disc out of thetray, press the OPEN/CLOSE button.Remove a disc from the tray in thesame way as loading to avoid leavingfingerprints on the disc surface.After putting a disc into its storagecase, close the disc tray by pressingthe OPEN/CLOSE button.••••Press the STOP/CLEAR button tostop play before the end of the disc isreached.STOPPING PLAY (STOP MODE)•MUSIC SEARCHOPERATIONPress the FORWARD SKIP button( ) to advance to the beginning ofthe next track.During normal play, if the FORWARDSKIP button is pressed when playingthe last track, the last track is skippedto the first track.During random or programmed play,if the FORWARD SKIP button ispressed when playing the last track,the “End” sign appears on the displayand the last track continues to beplayed.•••SKIPSELECTING A HIGHER NUMBEREDTRACK IN PLAY MODE••OVERBEGINNING AT A SPECIFIC TRACK INSTOP MODE1.
