Note that the PowerIndicator next to the switch will turn bluewhen the unit is on.1 Numeric Keys: These buttons serve as aten-button numeric keypad to enter tuner presetpositions or to tune stations directly.2 Clear Button: Press this button to clearpresets from your station list.3 Info/RDS Button: Pressing this button willchange the content of the lower display line ofthe Information Display as well as signal errorrate and software version. (See page 9 for moreinfo).4 Auto Tune Button: In DAB mode, pressthis button to automatically scan all availablestations.5 Scroll Buttons: Press L to tune lowerfrequency stations and K to tune higherfrequency stations. When a station with a strongsignal is tuned, the Information Display 6will read TUNED. Press again briefly to tune tothe next frequency increment in Manual TuneMode, or keep pressed for automatic search forthe next station with a signal strong enough foracceptable reception in Auto Tune Mode. Thesebuttons also control the parameters in thedifferent menus, like the Control Ring 9 onthe front panel.6 Function/FM Mode Selector: In DABmode, pressing this button will activate stationorder, preset tune, Dynamic Rate Control ormanual tune features. In FM mode, press thisbutton to select the stereo or mono mode for FMtuning. In the stereo mode, the word STEREOwill be shown in the Information Display 6,and stereo reception will be provided whenstations are transmitting stereo signals. In themono mode, the left and right signals from stereobroadcasts will be mixed together andreproduced through all channels. Select MONOfor better reception of weak signals.7 Band Selector: Press this button to changebetween the DAB, FM and AM frequency bands.8 Select: In FM or AM mode, press thisbutton to select Auto Tune, Manual Tune or PresetTune.9 Memory Button: Press this button to openthe memory position that stores a preset locationin the tuner. 99 DAB presets can be stored, aswell as 30 FM and 30 AM presets. (See page 9for more information on tuner presets.)A Standby/Power Off: Press this button toturn the unit off (to Standby).
