All modelsThis section provides information pertinent to all 4820 models.This table specifies the resolution by model number or touch technology type.Condition description ResolutionThe power indicator on the display is off Models 42x, 4Fx, 46x, 10D, 1FRv Ensure that the 4820 is powered on by pressing the power buttonon the display (models 42x and 4Fx only).v Check the voltage of the power supply output (see “Testing thepower supply” on page 4-6.)– If the voltage is correct, go to the next item.– If the dc voltage is not correct, verify that the power cord isplugged into a working ac outlet.– Then, verify that the power cord is properly plugged into thepower brick.– If the voltage remains incorrect, replace the power supply.v Check that the power brick is properly plugged into the power portof the display.v Replace unit.Models 48D, 48Tv Check the voltage output of the powered USB cable (see “Voltagefor USB power” on page 4-6).– If the voltages are correct, replace the unit.– If the voltages are incorrect, remove the cable from the systemunit, and verify that the voltage are correct at the system port.– The system unit requires servicing if the voltage at the port isnot correct.v If the voltages are correct at the system unit port and wrong at thecable, replace the cable.v Check that the powered USB cable is properly connected to the4820 SurePoint Solution.v Replace unit.Power LED amber All Models:v Low power mode. Communication is not yet established betweenhost and 4820v Check the video cable connections and replace the cables, ifnecessary.v Verify that the unit is powered on.v Check the standby or suspend mode of power management.v Replace the unit, if necessary.Touch display not responding to touch All Models:v Make sure that only a finger is used to touch the screen.Note: The sensor can only detect fingers.
