- BMC POST Watchdog TimeoutSet the BMC POST watchdog timeout value. 5 minutes is the defaultsetting.- System BMC Serial Port SharingEnable or disable the system BMC serial port sharing. Enable is the defaultsetting.- BMC Serial Port Access ModeShare or disable the BMC serial port access mode. Shared is the defaultsetting.- Reboot system on NMIIf you enable this option, the server automatically restarts 60 seconds afterthe service processor issues a nonmaskable interrupt (NMI) to the server. Ifyou disable this option, the server does not restart. Enable is the defaultsetting.- BMC Network ConfigurationSelect this choice to view the BMC Network Configuration information.- BMC System Event LogTo view the BMC System Event Log, which contains all system error andwarning messages that have been generated. Use the arrow keys to movebetween pages in the log. If an optional IBM Remote Supervisor Adapter IISlimLine is installed, the full text of the error messages is displayed;otherwise, the log contains only numeric error codes. Run the diagnosticprogram to get more information about error codes that occur. See theProblem Determination and Service Guide on the IBM System xDocumentation CD for instructions. Select Clear error logs to clear theBMC system event log.v Error LogsSelect this choice to view or clear error logs.This choice is available on the full Configuration/Setup Utility menu only.– POST Error LogSelect this choice to view the three most recent error codes and messagesthat were generated during POST. Select Clear error logs to clear the POSTerror log.v Save SettingsSelect this choice to save the changes you have made in the settings.v Restore SettingsSelect this choice to cancel the changes you have made in the settings andrestore the previous settings.v Load Default SettingsSelect this choice to cancel the changes you have made in the settings andrestore the factory settings.v Exit SetupSelect this choice to exit from the Configuration/Setup Utility program. If you havenot saved the changes you have made in the settings, you are asked whetheryou want to save the changes or exit without saving them.PasswordsFrom the System Security choice, you can set, change, and delete a power-onpassword and an administrator password.
