Diagnostics --> Video Adapter2. Interactive Tests --> VideoModem, MDCor BMDC1. Make sure the modem is set up correctly.2. Diagnostics --> Systemboard -->Keyboard2. Interactive Tests --> KeyboardTrackPoint orpointing deviceIf the TrackPoint does not work, check theconfiguration in the ThinkPad Configurationprogram. If the TrackPoint is disabled, selectEnable to enable it.After you use the TrackPoint, the pointer maydrift on the screen for a short time. This driftcan occur when a slight, steady pressure isapplied to the TrackPointing Stick. Thissymptom is not a hardware problem.
