Use the arrow keys to select a controller (channel) from the list of adapters;then, press Enter.9. Follow the instructions on the screen to change the settings of the selecteditems; then, press Enter. The Device Properties and Mirroring Properties,additional screens are displayed.When you have finished changing settings, press Esc to exit from the program;select Save to save the settings that you have changed.Formatting a SCSI hard disk driveLow-level formatting removes all data from the hard disk. If there is data you wantto save, back up the hard disk before performing this procedure.Note: Before you format a SCSI hard disk, make sure that it is not part of amirrored pair. From the list of adapters, select the controller (channel) for thedrive to format. Select Mirroring Properties and make sure the mirroringvalue for the drive is set to None.Complete the following steps to format a drive:1. From the list of adapters, select the controller (channel) for the drive to format.2. Select Device Properties.3. Use the arrow keys (↑ or ↓) to highlight the drive to format.4.
