DO NOTuse the highlighted settings for High−Stage Heating airflow. The highlighted settings are to be used for Low−StageHeating and Cooling ONLY.CAUTION!Change the blower speed taps as required to maintain propertemperature rise for Heating and Cooling as described above. To change blower motor speed selections for heating mode, remove blower motor lead from control HEAT terminal(s). (SeeFigure 4) Select desired blower motor speed lead(s) from theother motor leads and relocate it/them to LOW or HIGH HEATterminal(s). Reconnect original lead on SPARE terminalAdjust Blower Off Delay (Heat Mode)If desired, the main blower off time delay period may belengthened or shortened when operating in the heating modeto provide greater comfort. For position and location of switcheson control center. (See Figure 4 and Figure 15)a. Remove blower door if installed.b. Turn setup switches SW−2 and SW−3 ON or OFF fordesired blower off delay. See Table 5, Figure 4 andFigure 15.c. Proceed to “Set Blower Off Delay” before installingblower door.Table 5 Blower Speed TapsDESIRED HEATING MODEBLOWER OFF DELAY(SEC.)SETUP SWITCH(SW-2 & SW-3)POSITIONSW-2 SW-390 OFF OFF120 OFF ON150 ON OFF180 ON ONAdjust Cooling AirflowThe cooling airflow can be set from the remaining blower speedtaps. Refer to the Air Delivery Tables in these instructions. If a two−stage air conditioning or heat pump is installed, theLow Cooling Speed is the same speed tap as the Low Heat(LO HT), as well as Continuous Fan.Adjust Continuous Fan AirflowThe Continuous Fan airflow can be set from the remainingblower speed taps. Refer to the Air Delivery Tables in theseinstructions. The Continuous Fan speed can be changed to any otherspeed tap by toggling th Fan switch at the thermostat. See theSequence of Operation for details.FURNACE OVERHEATING HAZARDFailure to follow this caution may result in reduced furnacelife.Recheck temperature rise. It must be within limits specifiedon the rating plate. Recommended operation is at themid−point of rise range or slightly above.CAUTION!Adjust Thermostat Heat AnticipatorMechanical thermostat: Set thermostat heat anticipator tomatch the amp. draw of the electrical components in theR-W/W1 circuit. Accurate amp. draw readings can be obtainedat the wires normally connected to thermostat sub-baseterminals, R and W. The thermostat anticipator should NOT bein the circuit while measuring current. (See Figure 5)1. Set SW-1 (TT) switch on furnace control board to ON.(See Figure 4)2. Remove thermostat from sub-base or from wall.3. Connect an amp. meter across the R and W sub-baseterminals or R and W wires at wall.4. Record amp. draw across terminals when furnace is inlow heat and after blower starts.5. Set heat anticipator on thermostat per thermostatinstructions and install on sub-base or wall.6. Turn SW-1 (TT) switch OFF.7. Install blower access door.Electronic thermostat: Set cycle rate for 3 cycles per hr.Figure 5 Amp.
