This allows the user to individuallyselecting recorded data to be displayed via thealarm list search and full list search. Themaximum number of lists for a given HDD is3000. When the list of any given HDD is usedup and the disk is not full, the unit will still usethe rest of the space for recording. In such acase, an index for the recent recorded data willbe generated and the index of the next oldestdata will be erased so that the list does remain3000 in total. And the next oldest data will bekept in the index of the corresponding oldestdata. For any newly-recorded data, thisapproach will be applied until the disk becomesfull.In the rewrite recording mode, when thearchived hard disk drive is full, the DVR will startoverwriting the oldest data recorded. As theprevious recorded data is being overwrittenby the recent recording, the indicating time indexof that data will be changed corresponding to thestarting time of the remaining session.
