Dry climates are especially susceptible to ESD. It istherefore critical that whenever the AFL-F08A-N270 is accessed internally, or any otherelectrical component is handled, the following anti-static precautions are strictly adheredto. Wear an anti-static wristband: - Wearing a simple anti-static wristband canhelp to prevent ESD from damaging the board. Self-grounding: - Before handling the board touch any grounded conductingmaterial. During the time the board is handled, frequently touch anyconducting materials that are connected to the ground. Use an anti-static pad: - When configuring the AFL-F08A-N270, place it onan antic-static pad. This reduces the possibility of ESD damaging theAFL-F08A-N270.
