AFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL Panel PCPage 203.1 Anti-static PrecautionsWARNING:Failure to take ESD precautions during the maintenance of theAFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL may result in permanent damage to theAFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL and severe injury to the user.Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to electronic components, including the AFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL. Dry climates are especially susceptible to ESD.It is therefore critical that whenever the AFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL is accessed internally,or any other electrical component is handled, the following anti-static precautions arestrictly adhered to. Wear an anti-static wristband: Wearing a simple anti-static wristband canhelp to prevent ESD from damaging the board. Self-grounding: Before handling the board, touch any grounded conductingmaterial. During the time the board is handled, frequently touch anyconducting materials that are connected to the ground. Use an anti-static pad: When configuring the AFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL,place it on an anti-static pad. This reduces the possibility of ESD damagingthe AFL3-W10A/12A/W15A-AL. Only handle the edges of the PCB: When handling the PCB, hold the PCBby the edges.3.2 Installation PrecautionsWhen installing the panel PC, please follow the precautions listed below: Power turned off: When installing the panel PC, make sure the power is off.Failing to turn off the power may cause severe injury to the body and/ordamage to the system. Certified Engineers: Only certified engineers should install and modifyonboard functionalities.
