iSDV-200CTRPage 49WARNING:The precautions outlined in this chapter should be strictly followed.Failure to follow these precautions may result in permanent damage tothe iSDV-200CTR.B.1 Safety PrecautionsPlease follow the safety precautions outlined in the sections that follow:B.1.1 General Safety PrecautionsPlease ensure the following safety precautions are adhered to at all times. Follow the electrostatic precautions outlined below whenever the device isopened. Make sure the power is turned off and the power cord is disconnectedwhenever the iSDV-200CTR is being installed, moved or modified. To prevent the risk of electric shock, make sure power cord isunplugged from wall socket. To fully disengage the power to the unit,please disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet. Refer servicing toqualified service personnel. The AC outlet shall be readily available andaccessible. Do not apply voltage levels that exceed the specified voltage range.Doing so may cause fire and/or an electrical shock. Use a power cord thatmatches the voltage of the power outlet, which has been approved andcomplies with the safety standard of your particular country. Electric shocks can occur if the iSDV-200CTR chassis is opened when it isrunning. To avoid risk of electric shock, this device must only be connected toa supply mains with protective earth. If considerable amounts of dust, water, or fluids enter the device, turn offthe power supply immediately, unplug the power cord, and contact theiSDV-200CTR vendor.
