For remote to function make sure theheater is plugged-in and main power switchlocated on the bottom right hand side is inthe “ON” position.2. When operating the remote make sure youpoint the remote to the center of the heaterunit and make sure each time you pressthe button the LED indicator located ontop right hand corner of the remote blinks.The buzzer inside the unit will beep once; ifthe LED fails to blink check the batteries. Ittakes some time for the receiver to respondto the transmitter. Do not PRESS the but-tons more than once within two secondsfor correct operation.3. Power On power button: The power-onbutton at top left corner of the remote isthe main ON/OFF power button. This willturn off all the functions and the heater willbe in standby mode.4. Flame Power On button: This button con-trols both the amber and blue color fl ame.Press this button once to turn ON the fl ameeffect. Once the fl ame effect is ON use the +and – but tons as explained below to adjustthe fl ame brightness as desired. Press thisbutton again to turn OFF the fl ame effect.The heater can function even when thefl ame effect is turned off if so desired.REMOTE CONTROLCAUTIONS• Do Not Use Old Batteries WithNew Ones.• Do Not Use Batteries Other ThanThe Type Specified (2 Ea. To increasethe brightness/flame height, press andrelease the fl ame +5 button. Each time youpress this button the brightness will increaseby a small amount, until the maximum isreached.Press and release the Red Flame -5 button.Each time you press this button the bright-ness will decrease by small amount, untilthe minimum brightness is reached.The Blue Flame +5 or -5 buttons control thebrightness of the Blue fame. To increase thebrightness/flame height, press and releasethe Blue Flame +5 button. Each time youpress this button the brightness will increaseby a small amount, until the maximum isreached.To decrease the brightness / flame height,press and release the Blue Flame -5 button.Each time you press this but ton the bright-ness will decrease by small amount, untilthe minimum brightness is reached.Using these settings you can mix the amberand the blue fl ame to create a realistic orstylized flame effect. Color mixes will alsobe refl ected in the crystal ember bed foradded impact.5. Heater Power Button: This button is theheater ON/OFF button. Press this button toturn the heater ON. The heater will alwaysturn on at the highest setting. In order toreduce the temperature on the heater pressthis button again.High Button: Press the high button to switchthe heater directly to high heat setting of1500W.Low Button: Press the high button to switchthe heater directly to low heat setting of750W.Room Temp Button: Press the high but tonto switch the heater to AUTO Mode (SeeOperations, Page 7).6.
