OffSound Control (Deactivation andactivation of the sounds)Originally the sounds of the appliance areactivated.Activating and deactivating the sounds:1. Deactivate the appliance.2. Touch for 3 seconds. The displaycomes on and goes out.3. Touch for 3 seconds. On the left frontzone display comes on and on theright front zone display or comeson.4. Touch of the front left zone to chooseone of the following:• on the right front zone display -the sound is off.• on the right front zone display -the sound is on.To confirm your selection wait for 10seconds until the appliance deactivatesautomatically.When the function is set to you can hearthe sounds only when:• you touch .• you put something on the control panel.If there is a problem withelectrical supply and theappliance deactivates it does notkeep previous settings.Hints and tipsNoises during operationWhen a cooking zone is active, itmay hum briefly. This is acharacteristic of all ceramic glasscooking zones and does notimpair either the function or thelife of the appliance.How to avoid damage to the appliance• The glass ceramic can be damaged byobjects falling onto it, or knocked by thecookware.• Cookware made of cast iron, castaluminum or with damaged bottoms canscratch the glass ceramic if slid on thesurface.• To avoid damaging cookware and glassceramics, do not allow saucepans orfrying pans to boil dry.• Do not use the cooking zones with emptycookware or without cookware.• Never line any part of the appliance withaluminium foil. Never place plastic or anyother material which may melt in or onthe appliance.Care and cleaningGeneral informationWarning! Deactivate theappliance and let it cool downbefore you clean it.Warning!
