Whether the upper or lower value ofthe indicated storage time is valid dependson the quality of the foods and treating be-fore freezing.Storage of frozen foodWhen first starting-up or after a period outof use, before putting the products in thecompartment let the appliance run at least12 hours on the Fast Freezing setting.If large quantities of food are to be stored,remove all drawers from appliance andplace food on glass shelf to obtain the bestperformance.Important! In the event of accidentaldefrosting, for example due to a powerfailure, if the power has been off for longerthat the value shown in the technicalcharacteristics chart under "rising time", thedefrosted food must be consumed quickly orcooked immediately and then re-frozen(after cooling).ThawingDeep-frozen or frozen food, prior to beingused, can be thawed in the refrigeratorcompartment or at room temperature, de-pending on the time available for this oper-ation.Small pieces may even be cooked still fro-zen, directly from the freezer: in this case,cooking will take longer.ENGLISH 10
