The route of the flue must be as short aspossible.• Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaustducts carrying combustion fumes (boilers,fireplaces, etc.).• If the extractor is used in conjunction withnon-electrical appliances (e.g. gas burningappliances), a sufficient degree of aerationmust be guaranteed in the room in order toprevent the backflow of exhaust gas.
