3Safety InformationENGLISHBefore using the appliance, read these safetyinstructions. Keep them nearby for futurereference.These instructions and the appliance itselfprovide important safety warnings, to beobserved at all times. The manufacturerdeclines any liability for failure to observethese safety instructions, for inappropriate useof the appliance or incorrect setting of controls.SAFETY WARNINGSVery young children (0-3 years) should bekept away from the appliance. Young children(3-8 years) should be kept away from theappliance unless continuously supervised.Children from 8 years old and above andpersons with reduced physical, sensory ormental capabilities or lack of experienceand knowledge can use this appliance onlyif they are supervised or have been giveninstructions on safe use and understand thehazards involved. Children must not play withthe appliance. Cleaning and user maintenancemust not be carried out by children withoutsupervision.WARNING! The appliance and itsaccessible parts become hot during use. Careshould be taken to avoid touching heatingelements. Children less than 8 years old mustbe kept away unless continuously supervised.WARNING! Never leave the applianceunattended during food drying. If theappliance is suitable for probe usage, only usea temperature probe recommended for thisoven - risk of fire.Keep clothes or other flammable materialsaway from the appliance, until all thecomponents have cooled down completely -risk of fire. Always be vigilant when cookingfoods rich in fat, oil or when adding alcoholicbeverages - risk of fire. Use oven gloves toremove pans and accessories. At the end ofcooking, open the door with caution: allowinghot air or steam to exit gradually beforeaccessing the cavity - risk of burns. Do notobstruct hot air vents at the front of the oven -risk of fire.Exercise caution when the oven door is inthe open or down position, to avoid hitting thedoor.PERMITTED USECAUTION: the appliance is not intended tobe operated by means of an external switchingdevice, such as a timer, or separate remotecontrolled system.This appliance is intended to be used inhousehold and similar applications such as:staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and otherworking environments; farm houses; by clientsin hotels, motels, bed & breakfast and otherresidential environments.This appliance is not for professional use.Do not use the appliance outdoors.No other use is permitted (e.g. heating rooms).Do not store explosive or flammablesubstances (e.g. gasoline or aerosol cans)inside or near the appliance - risk of fire.INSTALLATIONThe appliance must be handled andinstalled by two or more persons - risk of injury.Use protective gloves to unpack and install -risk of cuts.Installation, including water supply (if any)and electrical connections, and repairs mustbe carried out by a qualified technician. Onceinstalled, packaging waste (plastic, styrofoamparts etc.) must be stored out of reach ofchildren - risk of suffocation. The appliancemust be disconnected from the power supplybefore any installation operation - risk ofelectrical shock. During installation, make surethe appliance does not damage the powercable - risk of fire or electrical shock. Onlyactivate the appliance when the installationhas been completed.
