Using the accessoriesWarning! Refer to the Safety chapters.Core temperature sensorThe core temperature sensor measures thecore temperature of the meat. When themeat is at the set temperature, the appli-ance deactivates.There are two temperatures to be set:• The oven temperature.• The core temperature. Refer to the valuesin the table.Recommended core temperatures50 °C Rare60 °C Medium70 °C Well doneImportant! Only use the core temperaturesensor supplied with the appliance, orgenuine replacement parts.1. Set the oven function and the oven tem-perature.2. Put the tip of the core temperature sen-sor into the centre of the meat.3. Put the plug of the core temperaturesensor into the socket at the front of theappliance.The display shows the symbol of thecore temperature sensor and thedefault core temperature. When youuse the core temperature sensor for thefirst time, the default core temperatureis 60 °C.4. While flashes, you can use the knobfor the temperature to change the de-fault core temperature.5. Press to save the new core tempera-ture setting, or wait 10 seconds for it tobe saved automatically. The new de-fault core temperature is displayed dur-ing the next use of the core tempera-ture sensor.6. Make sure that the core temperaturesensor stays in the meat and in thesocket during the cooking.7. When the meat is at the set core tem-perature, the symbol for the core tem-perature sensor and the default coretemperature flash. An acoustic signalsounds for two minutes. The appliancedeactivates automatically. Press a but-ton to stop the signal.8. Remove the plug of the core tempera-ture sensor from the socket . Removethe meat from the appliance.The Duration and End do not operatewith the core temperature sensor.You can change the core temperature atany time during the cooking:1. Press :– Four times - the display shows the setcore temperature which changes ev-ery 10 seconds to the current coretemperature.– Five times - the display shows thecurrent oven temperature whichchanges every 10 seconds to the setoven temperature.– Six times - the display shows the setoven temperature.2. Use the knob for the temperature tochange the temperature.ENGLISH 13
