Before first useWarning! Refer to Safetychapters.Initial CleaningRemove all accessories and removable shelfsupports from the appliance.Refer to "Care and cleaning"chapter.Clean the appliance before first use.Put the accessories and the removable shelfsupports back to their initial position.Setting the timeAfter the first connection to the mains, allsymbols in the display are on for someseconds. For the subsequent few secondsthe display shows the software version.After the software version goes off, thedisplay shows and "12:00". "12"flashes.1. Press or to set the current hour.2. Press to confirm. This is necessaryonly when you set the time for the firsttime. Later the new time will be savedautomatically after 5 seconds.The display shows and the set hour."00" flashes.3. Press or to set the current minutes.4. Press to confirm. This is necessaryonly when you set the time for the firsttime. Later the new time will be savedautomatically after 5 seconds.The display shows the new time.Changing the timeYou can change the time of day only whenthe oven is in standby mode.Press again and again until the symbolflashes in the display.To set a new time, refer to "Setting thetime".PreheatingPreheat the empty appliance to burn off theremaining grease.1. Set the function and the maximumtemperature.2. Let the appliance operate for 1 hour.3. Set the function and the maximumtemperature.4. Let the appliance operate for 15minutes.Accessories can become hotter than usual.The appliance can emit an odour andsmoke. This is normal. Make sure that theairflow in the room is sufficient.Using the Mechanical child lockThe appliance has the child lock installedand activated. It is below the control panelon the right side.To open the oven door with the child lockinstalled, pull the child lock handle up asshown in the picture.Close the oven door without pulling thechild lock.To remove the child lock, open the ovendoor and remove the child lock with the torxkey.
