Thenon-U.S.A. versions have 2 scan types.■ COM band scanq Push [CLR•DEL] to select the frequency mode.w Push [SQL•WX-ALERT], then rotate [DIAL] to set thesquelch level to the point where noise is just muted.e Push , then push [ANL•SCAN] to start the scan.• When a signal is received, the scan pauses until it disappears.• To change the scanning direction, rotate [DIAL].r To stop the scan, push [CLR•DEL].■ Memory scanq Push [MR•MW] to select the memory mode.• Push , then push [0•BANK], and rotate [DIAL] to select theBANK number, if desired.
