Ensure the automatic air vent cap is open.Note.It is important the burner is not operated before the system is fullyvented of air. If it is necessary to operate the appliance pump to assistventing of the air this must be done with the gas service cock turned off.2. Refit the boiler upper and lower front panels. Refer to Frame 33.3. Check that the drain cock is closed and that the CH and DHW isolatingvalves (M, L and G) are OPEN.4. Check that the electrical supply is OFF.5. Check that the boiler mode control knob (A) is off.6. Check that the gas service cock (K) is OPEN.7. Slacken the screw in the inlet pressure test point (J) and connect agas pressure gauge via a flexible tube.8. Switch electricity supply ON & check mechanical timer is in “PermanentlyOn” position.Note. The boiler incorporates a fan overrun cyclewhich MUST NOT be prematurely interrupted byisolation of the mains electricity supply.19202122232412345678910111213141516171800Ipreheatpreheatmin minmaxmoderesetoff status burnermaxe30ExclusiveCENTRaL hEaTINg9. Set the CH temp control (C) to max and turn the mode control knob (A) to. The boiler control should now go through its ignition sequence untilthe burner is established.10. If the boiler does not light code will be displayed. After 5 attemptsthe boiler will lock out and display fault code constantly. Reset theboiler (Refer to Frame 30). The boiler will repeat its ignition sequence. Ifreset occurs 5 times within 15 minutes then will be shown. If power isremoved this will be reset. When the burner is established the BLUE ‘Burner On’ neon (E) will beilluminated, the LED display (D) will show status .DOMEsTIC hOT WaTER11. With the boiler firing, set the DHW Temp Control knob (B) to maximumand fully open a DHW tap.The boiler should continue to run and the LED display (D) should showstatus12. Ensure that with the boiler operating the dynamic gas pressure is able toobtain maximum output. Refer to Table 2.IMpORTaNT - The gas input to the burner is regulated by the gas valveaccording to the air flow produced by the fan. It is NOT user-adjustable.any interference to sealed settings on the gas valve will adverselyaffect operation and render our warranty void. For additional gas supply info refer to “Gas Supply” on page 8.13. Turn off the DHW tap.14. To turn on the DHW pre heat facility, turn the DHW knob (B) fullyclockwise and then back to the desired setting, a decimal point will appear inthe boiler status window (F) indicating pre heat ‘ON’.15. To turn off the pre heat facility, turn the DHW knob (B) fully clockwise andthen back to the desired setting, the decimal point will disappear in the boilerstatus window (F) indicating pre heat ‘OFF’.MEChaNICaL TIMERA B C DEF192021222324123456789101112131415161718Permanently ONPermanently OFFTimer ControlINsTaLLaTION
