Wall MountingCM40AW, CM42, CM42AW, CM52, CM52AWHorizontalVerticalTroubleshootingIf there is no sound fromany of the speakers, checkthe following:• Receiver/amplifier is on anda source is playing.• Review proper operation ofyour receiver/amplifier.If there is no sound comingfrom one speaker, check thefollowing:• Check the “Balance” controlon your receiver/amplifier.• Check all wires and connec-tions between receiver/amplifier and speakers.• Make sure all wires areconnected. Make sure none ofthe speaker wires are frayed,cut, or punctured.If the system plays at lowvolumes but shuts off asvolume is increased, checkthe following:• Check all wires and connec-tions between receiver/amplifier and speakers.• Make sure all wires are con-nected. Make sure none of thespeaker wires are frayed, cut,or punctured.• If more than one pair ofmain speakers is being used,check the minimum imped-ance requirements of yourreceiver/amplifier.If there is low bass output,check the following:• Make sure the polarity(+ and –) of the left andright “Speaker Inputs” areconnected properly.
