EVOi.32411A P P L I C A T I O N SLOUDSPEAKER BASICSWhen to use Delay SpeakersThe use of more than one EVOi.324 may be necessary invenues with extremely long listening areas.For example if the listening area is 120’ in depth and therequired performance is for “Loud Playback Music” theMaximum Performance Guideline on page 10 indicates amaximum 20’ installation height. This will provide 60’ ofthrow. This isachieved by appropriately delaying the audio signalarriving at the delay speaker and also by reducing itsoverall output level. While these adjustments typicallyrequire the use of complex measurement equipment,expensive delay devices and years of audio experience,they can be made automatically through the use of theoptional EVOi.net controller.
