Connect the speaker wiresto the speaker.Replace the metal grille. For theSSLCR only, attach the JBL logoto the grille to correspond tovertical or horizontal installation.Place the frame assemblyin the wall.Screw down each of the four(six for SSLCR) Phillips-headscrews. The locking tabs willswivel into place and securethe unit to the rear surface ofthe drywall.JBL Performance Specialistspeakers feature unique swivelmounts for the tweeters thatenable you to aim the verydirectional high frequenciestoward the listening position,at ear-level height. Beforeinstalling the speaker grille,gently press on the outer edgeof the tweeter mount to adjustthe position of the tweeter. Thetweeter will not swivel morethan 15 degrees in any direc-tion; do not attempt to force itto move further. You may alsorotate the tweeter to orient theJBL logo as desired.
