To Convert Surface Burners1. If installed, remove the burner grates.2. Remove the burner caps.3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the burner base.A. Burner capB. Gas tube openingC. Burner base screwsD. Burner base4= Apply masking tape to the end of a 9/32H(7.0 mm) nut driver tohelp hold the Natural gas orifice spud in the nut driver whilechanging it. Press nut driver down onto the Natural gas orificespud and remove by turning it counterclockwise and liftingout. Set the Natural gas orifice spud aside.AA. Natural gas orifice spudUse the following chart for correct LP gas orifice spud for eachburner. Refer to the model/serial rating plate behind the controlpanel for proper sizing of LP gas orifice spuds for each burnerlocation.LP Gas Orifice Spud ChartBurner Rating Color Number4,000 BTU Blue 64L9,100 BTU Clear 91L10,000 BTU Green 97L14,000 BTU Red 114L5. Replace the Natural gas orifice spud with the correct LP gasorifice spud. See the "LP Gas Orifice Spud Chart."6. Replace burner base and hand tighten the screws.7. Replace burner cap.8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for the remaining burners.9. Place Natural gas orifice spuds in plastic parts bag for futureuse and keep with literature package.10.11.Replace burner grates.Complete installation. See "Make Gas Connection" andElectronic Ignition System" sections.Checking for proper cooktop burner flame is very important.The small inner cone should have a very distinct blue flame1_" to V2" long. The outer cone is not as distinct as the innercone.
