It is theinstaller's responsibility to comply with installation clearancesspecified on the model/serial rating plate. The model/serial ratingplate is located behind the left filter on the rear wall of the venthood.Canopy hood location should be away from strong draft areas,such as windows, doors and strong heating vents.Cabinet opening dimensions that are shown must be used. Givendimensions provide minimum clearance.This range hood is recommended for use with cooktops with amaximum total rating of 78,000 BTUs or less.Grounded electrical outlet is required. See “ElectricalRequirements” section.Because of the size and weight of this island hood, the chimneysupport must be securely attached to the ceiling.■ The chimney support must be attached to joists. If this is notpossible, you must build a support structure behind theplaster or drywall.
