17To Replace the Extendable Roller Rack:1. Place on rack guide.2. Slide in rack/shelf.3. Pull rack/shelf forward.Know your Racks■ To avoid damage to the sliding shelves, do not place morethan 25 lbs (11.4 kg) on the rack.■ Do not clean the extendable roller rack in a dishwasher.It may remove the rack’s lubricant and affect its abilityto slide.■ See the “Care and Cleaning” section for more information.Using 2 hands, grasp front of the closed rack and sliding shelf.Place the closed rack and sliding shelf on the rack guide.Slowly push the rack and sliding shelf to the back of oven untilthe back edge of the sliding shelf drops.Pull the rack and sliding shelf slightly forward until the frontedge drops and the sliding shelf is on the rack guide.Meat ThermometerOn models without a temperature probe, use a meatthermometer to determine whether meat, poultry, and fishare cooked to the desired degree of doneness. The internaltemperature, not appearance, should be used to determinedoneness. A meat thermometer is not supplied with thisappliance. Follow manufacturer’s directions for usinga meat thermometer.Oven VentThe oven vent shouldnot be blocked orcovered since it allowsthe release of hot air andmoisture from the oven.Blocking or covering thevent will cause poor aircirculation, affectingcooking and cleaningresults. Do not setplastics, paper, or otheritems that could melt orburn near the oven vent.Cooling FanThe oven has a 2-speed cooling fan motor.When the oven temperature reaches 475°F (246°C) or is in theSelf-Cleaning cycle, the fan will operate at its highest speed toincrease airflow and better exhaust the hotter air through theoven vent(s).
