Safety3.1 Authorized useThis machine is designed for sawingwood, wood derived materials as wellas similar to be machined hardplastics only.Machining of other materials is notpermitted and may be carried out inspecific cases only after consultingwith the manufacturer.No metal workpieces may bemachined.The workpiece must allow to safely beloaded, supported and guided.No cuts without using the rip fence,the 90° fence or the sliding table maybe performed.No submerged cuts by removing theriving knife and/or saw guard may beperformed.The use of a power feeder is notconsidered.The proper use also includescompliance with the operating andmaintenance instructions given in thismanual.The machine must be operated onlyby persons familiar with its operation,maintenance and repair and who arefamiliar with its hazards.The required minimum age must beobserved.The machine must only be used in atechnically perfect condition.When working on the machine, allsafety mechanisms and covers mustbe mounted.In addition to the safety requirementscontained in this operating instructionand your country’s applicableregulations, you should observe thegenerally recognized technical rulesconcerning the operation ofwoodworking machines.Any other use exceeds authorization.In the event of unauthorized use of themachine, the manufacturer renouncesall liability and the responsibility istransferred exclusively to the operator.3.2 General safety notesWoodworking machines can bedangerous if not used properly.Therefore the appropriate generaltechnical rules as well as the followingnotes must be observed.
