5The specified values are emissionlevels and are not necessarily to beseen as safe operating levels.Although there is a correlationbetween emission and imission levels, these do not constitute a basis fordetermining the necessity of additionalsafety measures. Workplaceconditions which could influence thenoise imission level include theduration of resonance, spatialparticulars, other noise sources etc.For example, the number of machinesand other work being performed. Thepermissible workplace levels can varyfrom country to country. This information is intended to allowthe user to make a better estimationof the hazards and risks involved.4.3 Dust emissionThe band saw JWBS-14 has been dustemission inspected. At an air velocity of 20 m/s on the dustport dia 100mm:Vacuum pressure 1250 PaVolume flow 565 m³/hThe machine meets the presentworkplace dust emission limit of2 mg/m³.4.4 Content of deliveryMachine tableFenceFence support railsParallel cutting deviceMitre gaugeAssembly bagSaw blade 10 mmOperating manualSpare parts list5. Transport and start up5.1 Transport and installationFor transport use a forklift or handtrolley. Make sure the machine doesnot tip or fall off during transport. The machine is designed to operate inclosed rooms and must be placedstable on firm and levelled ground. The machine can be bolted down ifrequired. For packing reasons the machine isnot completely assembled.5.2 AssemblyIf you notice any transport damagewhile unpacking, notify your supplierimmediately. Do not operate themachine!Dispose of the packing in anenvironmentally friendly manner.Clean all rust protected surfaces witha mild solvent.Attach the machinestand with 16screws, washers and nuts.(Fig 1).Fig 1Mount the machine table to thetrunions and attach the lock knobs (A,Fig 2).Fig 2Set the table to be square to thesawblade and reference the table stop(B, Fig 2) and the tilting scale (D, Fig2).Attach the support rails (G, Fig 3) tothe machine table with 4 hex capscrews, 4 spring washers and 4washers and align them parallel to thetable surface.Fig 3Attach the guide rail (H, Fig 3) with 5hex cap screws, 5 spring washers and5washers.Place the fence assembly (B, Fig 4)on the guide rail and align the fenceprofile (A, Fig 4) to be parallel to themitre groove in the table.Fig 4Move the fence assembly flush to thesawblade and set the pointer (C, Fig4) to zero.Fig 5Check the clearance between the tableand the fence. The gap should beappr. 1mm. Use the support rails andthe rear glide piece (E, Fig 5) toadjust.
