Operating Instructions BR/BD 530 XL BAT/ Package English28Monthlyn Check the battery terminals for oxidationand, if required, lubricate with terminalgrease. Ensure that the connectioncables are secure.n Check the condition of the containercover seals and, if required, replace.n If non-maintenance-free batteries areused, check the acid concentration ofthe cells.Annuallyn Have customer service conduct thestipulated inspection.Maintenance proceduresReplacing the squeegee bladesn Unscrew the star knobs.n Pull off the plastic parts.n Remove the squeegee blades.n Insert new rubber strips.n Push on the plastic parts.n Screw in and tighten star knobs.Replacing the roller brushesn Loosen the wing nuts.n Remove the bearing cover.n Remove both roller brushes, insert newones (note hexagon fixtures for the rollerbrushes).n Attach bearing cover.n Tighten the wing nuts.Replacing disc brushesn Rotate propulsion to slow speed (–).n Raise the disc brushes.n Rotate disc brushes by approx. 45° in ananti-clockwise direction.n Pull down and remove disc brushes.n Insert the new disc brushes in reversesequence.n Rotate propulsion to the desired speed (+).
