DO NOT store near furnace or othersources of heat as it may dry out the pumpseals.CAUTIONFailure to follow the above directions will result indamage to the pump assembly and accessoriesand will void the warranty.Kärcher® also recommends the regular practice ofusing a pump protector like “Kärcher® PumpGuard” to prevent cold weather damage duringstorage in the winter months.Initial UseAll Kärcher pumps ship with oil already inside di-rect from the factory. There is no need to add oil.Pump InspectionYou should routinely make a visual inspection ofthe pressure washer’s pump. If you notice oilleaking around the pump seals, you should takethe pressure washer to a Kärcher-AuthorizedService Center for repair. (You can locate a ser-vice center in your area online at www.karcher-residential.com)(with or without detergent). Pre-rinse cleaningsurface with fresh water. If using detergent, applyto surface at low pressure (for best results, limityour work area to sections of approximately 6feet and always apply detergent from bottom totop). Allow detergent to remain on surface 1-3minutes. Do not allow detergent to dry on sur-face, if surface appears to be drying, simply wetdown surface with fresh water. If needed, usespecial wash brush attachment (not included)to remove stubborn dirt. Rinse at high pressurefrom top to bottom in an even sweeping motionkeeping the spray nozzle approximately 6 inchesfrom the cleaning surface.CAUTIONDo not use Dirtblaster spray nozzle on sidingas it may cause damage.(with or without detergent). Pre-rinse deck andsurrounding area with fresh water. If usingdetergent, apply to surface at low pressure.For best results, limit your work area to smallersections of approximately 25 square feet. Allowdetergent to remain on surface 1-3 minutes. Donot allow detergent to dry on surface. Rinse athigh pressure in a long sweeping motion keepingthe spray nozzle approximately 3-6 inches fromthe cleaning surface. Always clean from top tobottom and from left to right. When moving on toa new section of the cleaning surface, be sureto overlap the previous section to eliminate stopmarks and ensure a more even cleaning result.CAUTIONDo not use Dirtblaster spray nozzle on woodsurface as it may cause damage.
