– 6The spark arrester is not included in thescope of delivery.Illustration Loosen 3 screws. Remove exhaust baffle plate. Loosen 4 screws. Remove muffler cover. Loosen screws. Pull the spark arrester out of the muf-fler. Decarbonize the sieve of the spark ar-rester by means of a brush. Check sieve for fractures and holes.Replace damaged spark arrester. Reinstall the spark arrester and assem-ble the muffler. Allow the engine to cool down for atleast 15 minutes prior to shipping it. DANGERFuel vapours or spilled fuel are flammable.Keep the engine in a horizontal positionduring transport to avoid fuel spills. WARNINGRisk of personal injury or damage! Mind theweight of the appliance during transport. Remove spark-plug connector. Change engine oil. Allow the engine to cool down for atleast 1/2 an hour.ATTENTIONWater entering the muffler or the air filtercan cause damage to the engine. Clean exterior surfaces. Touch up any damaged paint and coatother areas that may rust with a lightfilm of oil. When storing the device for more thanone month, drain the fuel. Unscrew spark plug. 5...10 cm 3 Put engine oil into the cylin-der. Pull the starter rope several times tospread the oil in the engine. Screw in the spark plug. Pull the starter rope slowly until a resist-ance can be felt. Slowly return the starter rope. DANGERRisk of explosion. Do not store the enginein the vicinity of flames or electrical devicesif there is still fuel in the tank. WARNINGRisk of personal injury or damage!
