– 2– Please follow the national rules andregulations for fuel spray jets of the re-spective country.– Please follow the national rules andregulations for accident prevention ofthe respective country. Fuel spray jetsmust be tested regularly and the resultsof these tests must be documented inwriting.High-pressure jets can be dan-gerous if improperly used. Thejet may not be directed at per-sons, animals, live electricalequipment or at the appliance itself.According to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA. Waterflowing through a system separator is con-sidered non-drinkable.CautionAlways connect the system separator tothe water supply, never directly to the appli-ance!Use this appliance exclusively for cleaningusing high pressure jet with/without detergent(e.g. food industry, disassembly plants...).While reducing the water supply/quantityregulation at the pump head, the overflowvalve opens and part of the water flowsback to the pump suck side.If the lever on the trigger gun is releasedthe pressure switch turns off the pump, thehigh pressure jet is stopped. If the lever ispulled the pump is turned on again. The safety valve opens when the permissi-ble operating pressure is exceeded; waterflows back to the suction side of the pump. The overflow valve, pressure switch andsafety valve are set and sealed at the fac-tory.Setting only by customer service. The lack of water fuse in the swimmer reservoirshuts off the engine when the water supply is in-sufficient (water pressure too low). The pump is thus protected from runningdry.– Check the contents of the pack beforeunpacking.– In case of transport damage inform ven-dor immediately Unscrew the palm grip screw to lock theappliance cover and open the appliancecover.
