– 3The switch prevents unintented starting ofthe appliance. Stop the appliance duringbreaks or after operation. The hand wheel on the hand spray gun inzero position prevents the appliance frombeing switched on unintentionally.– While reducing the water supply/quanti-ty regulation at the pump head, theoverflow valve opens and part of thewater flows back to the pump suck side.– If the hand spray gun is closed, the wa-ter will flow into the swimmer containervia the overflow valve. This will create awater circuit.– If the hand spray gun is opened, theoverflow will close. The spray pressurewill be reactivated. The overflow valve is set by the manufac-turer and sealed. Setting only by customerservice.– With excessive pressure, the safetyvalve will open. The emitted cleaningliquid protects the pump and the high-pressure hoses from damages by ex-cessive pressure. The safety valve is set by the manufacturerand sealed. Setting only by customer ser-vice.The parking brake prevents the appliancefrom rolling off. DangerRisk of injury! Device, tubes, high pressurehose and connections must be in faultlesscondition. Otherwise, the appliance mustnot be used. Lock parking brake. Cut off tip of oil filling nozzle. Check oil level of the high pressurepump. The oil level must be between the “MIN“and “MAX“ markings on the oil contain-er. Add oil if required (see technical speci-fications). WarningIn case of lacteous oil inform Kärcher cus-tomer service immediately Install the pushing handle on the pipeframe. Connect high pressure hose and spraypipe to the hand spray gun. Screw the exchange nozzle onto thespray pipe. Mount the power nozzle (with two flatconnection) and the round jet nozzle onthe exchange nozzle. Tighten the cov-ering nuts fingertight. Connect the high pressure hose to thehigh pressure connection point of themachine.– For connection values refer to technicalspecifications– The electrical connections must bedone by an electrician according to IEC60364-1.– As is standard, the machine is equippedwith an EEx plug. If the existing socketdoes not match this plug, it must be ad-justed accordingly by a technician. WarningThe highest allowed net impedance at theelectrical connection point (refer to techni-cal data) is not to be exceeded.Power switchHand wheel of hand spray gunOverflow valveSafety valveParking brakeStart upCheck oil levelInstalling the pushing handleAttaching the AccessoriesPower supply16 EN
