– 3 Install nozzle with nozzle screw at thespray pipe. Connect ray tube to hand spray gun Tighten the high-pressure connectionas required. Lever out the safety clip of the handspray gun using a screw-driver (PictureA). Place the hand-spray gun upside downand insert the end of the high pressurehose till the end. Ensure that the losedisc falls right below on the hose end(Picture B). Press the safety clip back into the hand-spray gun. The hose can be pulled outmax. 1 mm if it has been installed cor-rectly. Otherwise, it means the disc hasbeen installed wrongly (picture C). WarningThe appliance may only be connected to al-ternating current.The appliance may only be connected to anelectrical supply which has been installed inaccordance with IEC 60364.The voltage indicated on the type platemust correspond to the voltage of the elec-trical source.The minimum fuse rating required at thesocket outlet is (see technical specifica-tions).The highest allowed net impedance at theelectrical connection point (refer to techni-cal data) is not to be exceeded. In case ofconfusion regarding the power impedancepresent on your connection, please contactyour utilities provider.The appliance should always be connectedto the electrical mains using a plug. It is for-bidden to permanently connect the appli-ance to the power supply. The plug is onlyfor mains separation.Check the power cord with mains plug fordamage before every use. If the power cordis damaged, please arrange immediatelyfor the exchange by an authorized custom-er service or a skilled electrician.The plug and coupling of the extension ca-ble used must be watertight.Use the extension cord that has an ade-quate cross-section (see "Technical Data")and unwind it fully from the cable drum.Unsuitable extension cables can be haz-ardous. Only use extension cables out-doors which have been approved for thispurpose and labelled with a sufficient cablecross section:For connection values, see type plate/tech-nical data. WarningObserve regulations of water supplier.According to the applicable regula-tions, the appliance must never beused on the drinking water supplywithout a system separator. Use asuitable system separator manufactured byKÄRCHER; or, as an alternative, a systemseparator as per EN 12729 Type BA.
