Open the water supply. Start the motor with the trigger gunopen according to the operating instruc-tions of the motor manufacturer.Note:The spray lance can be removed to facili-tate the start-up process. Press the lever on the hand spray gun. Release the lever on the trigger gun.Note:When the lever of the hand spray gun is re-leased, the engine continues to run at zerospeed. The water thus circulates within thepump and gets heated. When the cylinderhead at the pump has reached the maxi-mum permissible tempertaure (80 °C), thetherm-valve opens. Hot water is drained.Cold water will follow and cool the pump.After operating the water using saline water(sea water), open the hand spray gun andrinse the appliance for at least 2 - 3 minutesusing tap water. Set the appliance switch at the engineto OFF and close the fuel supply valve. Shut off water supply. Activate trigger gun until device is pres-sure-less. Secure the hand spray gun using thesafety catch so that it doesn't open ac-cidentally. Remove the water inlet hose from theappliance.ATTENTIONFrost will destroy the not completely waterdrained device.Store the appliance in a frost free area. Drain water. Pump in conventional frost protectionagents through the appliance.Note:Use normal glycol-based anti-freezingagents for automobiles.Observe handling instructions of the anti-freeze agent manufacturer. Operate device for max. 1 minute untilthe pump and conduits are empty. Push the push handle down and pullour push the appliance using the pushhandle. When transporting in vehicles, securethe appliance according to the guide-lines from slipping and tipping over. CAUTIONRisk of personal injury or damage!
